The Larks were unable to send their sophomores home with a victory in their final home game as they fell to Dodge City by a score of 6-1.  This loss brings their season record to (5-10, 1-8) with one game remaining.  Dodge City came out firing against the Larks as they added back-to-back goals in the 5th minute of the game to put them up 2-0 early.  Dodge City would add two more goals before the end of the half to go ahead of Hesston by a score of 4-0.  To begin the second half Dodge City took advantage of a Lark defensive breakdown and added another goal in the 49th minute to put them up 5-0.  In the 62nd minute the Larks began to posses the ball more giving them more chances, Chandler Blanchard (FR Derby, Kan.) passed the ball through a set of Conqs defenders and Itallo da Silvas Dias (FR Matias Barbosa, Brazil) put the shot on frame and  past the goalie to put the Larks on the board making the score 5-1.  Dodge City would add another goal in the 72nd minute to make the score 6-1, which is what the final score ended at.  The Larks will now look to end the season on a high note with a victory as they face off with Pratt CC on Saturday, October 19 at 3:30 pm in Pratt, Kansas.
