The Larks have waited over 500 days to host a soccer match after their fall season was pushed back to the spring, they were able to begin the season undefeated as they defeated Central Christian JV 2-1.   


Hesston was able to get on the board early as Baldo Moreno would score the first goal of the season for the Larks with 41:55 left to play in the first half as they took the early 1-0 advantage.  They were able to extend their lead to 2-0 after Patrick Uwimana scored his first goal in a Larks uniform with 37:00 left to play in the first half.  Central Christian scored their lone goal of the match in the first half, but the Larks were able to take the game 2-1 after holding the Tigers scoreless in the second half.  


Hesston. will face off with D1 opponent, Casper College out of Wyoming on Saturday afternoon beginning at 3:00 PM.  They will look to begin the season 2-0, before they hit the road for a two game trip.
