Game 1: The Larks were able to beat the Jets 8-4 in the first game of the double header on Saturday. The game was tied at four in the bottom of the sixth, when Reese Peterson doubled, scoring three runs to give Hesston the lead for good. She had four runs batted in total for the game.Ā Teri Stanton was on the mound for the Larks going seven innings, allowing five hits and four runs while striking out three. The offense was well balanced with Candace Durney and Madison Rosales having multi hit games as well.Ā Ā Ā

Game 2: Northern Oklahoma were able to light up the Lark pitching early and often to run rule in six innings. Teri Stanton pitched in this game as well, giving up 10 runs on six hits. Natalie Fischer finished up the game on the mound also getting roughed up for seven runs on eight hits. The Lark Offense was led by Candace Durney who had two hits, three runs batted in, and one run scored. Katie Alaniz also chipped in two hits, one run batted in, and a run scored of her own.Ā
