Williams Quiets #14 Nationally Ranked Tigers Offense

Hannah Williams led things off in the pitcher's circle for Hesston College. The right hander pitched a complete game, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out nine and only walking one. Hesston took the lead late in the game for a 5-2 victory over #14 nationally ranked Cowley County Community College. 

The game was tied at two with the Larks batting in the bottom of the fifth. Madison Rosales singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Hesston kept the lead for the remainder of the game. Rosales, Stanton, Cain, Alaniz, and McCage each managed a hit for the Larks.

This win finished off a week where the Larks were able to split with another top of the KJCCC standings team in nationally ranked #15 Johnson County Community College. The Larks have six games left before the district tournament and a two game lead on Allen Community College for the seventh position in conference play.
