Great Bend, Kan. - Ā The Hesston offense was on full display today versus the Barton County Cougars. The Larks were able to compile 13 runs on 14 hits including three of those being for extra bases. Stolen bases were also a part of the game plan for Hesston, which combined as a team to steal seven bags.Ā Sophomore Sammy Fatka hit a home run in the top of the seventh inning to extend the Larks lead to six. Sophomore Hannah Williams was able to battle through a tough start to the bottom of the seventh giving up two runs to grind out the sixth victory for Hesston on the year. Freshman Lauren Payne earned her second victory on the season. The Larks have one more non conference matchup before the KJCCC schedule starts when they travel to Beatrice, Nebraska to faceoff with fellow Junior College Sourtheast Community College on Sunday March 26th at 1 and 3pm.Ā Ā Ā Ā
