HESSTON, Kan. – The Hesston College men's soccer team fell to Neosho County Community College 7-1 in their season finale on Wednesday (October 23).
Neosho found their rhythm early scoring four goals in the first half and netting three more scores in the second half. Hesston's lone goal came in the 77th minute when Galo Benedek converted a penalty kick. Despite multiple attempts, the Hesston players were unable to close the gap, ending the match with 18 shots and seven on target. Hesston keeper Luis Jimenez recorded 15 saves bringing his career total to 252 which ranks second all-time in program history.
