HESSTON, Kan. – The Hesston College men's soccer team fell just short against Central Community College, 3-1, on Wednesday (September 25).
The Raiders got on the board early in the first half taking advantage of a fortunate chain of passes that put them in an easy scoring position. CCC scored twice more in the second half to help secure their win. Alex Radu scored the lone goal for the Larks in the 89th minute.
The Larks took ten shots and placed three of them on goal. Luis Jimenez recorded four saves as the starting keeper for Hesston while Regan Goodison recorded one in 25 minutes of relief.
