HAVILAND, Kan. — The Hesston College men's soccer team earned a 2-0 shutout victory over Barclay College on Saturday, Sept. 5, in Haviland. After a scoreless first half, the Larks found the back of the net twice in the second half to secure the nonconference win.

Alex Radu and Santi Llanos each scored a goal for Hesston, with Llanos also recording an assist. The Larks finished with 14 shots, putting 10 on target, while limiting Barclay to just three shots and none on goal.

Radu led the Larks with five shots, including three on goal, while Llanos added three shots and two shots on target. Mario Delgado recorded two shots, including one on goal, while Mateo Gonzalez, Jordan Bakkenes, Jaiden Trevelyan and Michihiro Koga each added a shot on target.

The victory moved the Larks to 4-0-1 on the season. 

The Larks will return home Wednesday, Sept. 9 to face Sterling College at 7:30 p.m.
