Chad Fuqua serves as director of golf at Hesston College, where he is committed to developing student-athletes both on the golf course and off. His coaching philosophy emphasizes character, accountability, personal growth and competitive excellence, helping students prepare for success long after their collegiate careers conclude.

Chad is a volunteer employee of Hesston College. He began with the program in 2020 as a volunteer interim head coach and has helped mentor two different head coaches over the last six years. In fall 2026 he began mentoring his third head coach, Trinton Nobles. 

In addition to overseeing the golf program, Fuqua brings extensive leadership and business experience as the owner of Fuqua Insurance Group, an independent insurance agency. His background in coaching, mentoring and business leadership provides student-athletes with unique guidance in areas ranging from time management and career preparation to leadership development and personal responsibility.

A longtime member of the Hesston community, Fuqua is actively involved in local golf initiatives and serves as chair of the City of Hesston Golf Advisory Board, a board member of Central Links Golf Association (AGA for Kansas and West Missouri). He also serves as a section chair for the Central Links Kansas Junior Tour. As a former competitive golfer, his passion for the game extends beyond competition, focusing on growing the sport, creating meaningful opportunities for young people and building strong relationships throughout the golf community.

Under Fuqua's leadership, the Hesston College golf program has seen unprecedented success on the course and strives to develop well-rounded student-athletes who compete with integrity, represent the college with pride and pursue excellence in every aspect of their lives.
