Dante Texeira

Dante Texeira took over as the head men’s soccer coach in 2022. In his first season, Texeira led the Larks to their first winning season in 26 years posting an 8-7-1 record. In his tenure, Texeira has coached 10 all-conference performers including four first-team honorees.

A Boston, Mass., native, Texeira completed his undergraduate study at Bethel (Kan.) College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in sports management. Dante played four seasons for the Threshers while completing his degree. He went on to earn his master’s degree in sports management from Wichita (Kan.) State University.

Before his time at Hesston, Dante was an assistant coach at his alma mater for two years. Prior to that, he spent five years coaching for the Kansas Rush Youth Soccer clubs in Wichita with the U14 Girls and U19 Boys. He continues to do this today.

Dante and his wife, Kerrigan, live in Park City with their dog, Winnie.
