Christie enters her 1st season as the Head Softball Coach at Hesston College. Prior to coming to Hesston, she was a Graduate Assistant Coach at The University of St. Francis (IL) from 2017-2019, where she was in charge of Catchers and Outfield; helping the Saints to a Regular Season Conference Championship and Tournament Conference Championship with a 41-9 record, where they reached NAIA Opening Rounds to make the Championship Series. While at St. Francis she helped coach two NAIA and NFCA 1st Team All-Americans, two NAIA and NFCA 2nd Team All-Americans; along with 7 CCAC 1st Team All-Conference, 4 2nd Team All-Conference, 8 Academic All-Conference, 10 Academic All-Americans, Pitcher of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and the Champions of Character Award.

Prior to coaching at St. Francis, she coached at Estacado High School in Lubbock, Tx and Permian High School in Odessa, Tx.

She played one season at Hutchinson Community College before transferring to Oklahoma Wesleyan University where she played for 3 years under Caty Reeves. In her 3 years at OKWU, Christie was a 2 time MCAC All-Conference player in 2014 & 2015; while at OKWU Christie earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education- K-12 Physical Education/Health in 2015.
Bell then earned her Master of Science in Health Education while being a Graduate Assistant at The University of St. Francis in May 2019.

Coach Bell is from Sanger, Tx and resides in Hesston, Ks.
