Gracie Johnston is in her first year as an assistant softball coach at Hesston College. She is from Augusta, Kansas, and spent five years at Missouri State University, where she earned degrees in Entertainment Management and Leadership & Management.

In the circle for the Bears, Gracie made 106 appearances with 60 starts, collecting 26 wins, 21 complete games, 8 saves, and 214 strikeouts across 369 innings. She capped her career by tying the Missouri State single-season record with 7 saves in her final season.

Gracie was also a standout in the classroom, earning MVC All-Tournament Team honors in 2023 and 2024, NFCA Scholar-Athlete recognition, CSC Academic All-District honors, and multiple MVC and MSU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll awards.

She is excited to bring her pitching experience and passion for the game to Hesston, helping student-athletes compete with confidence and continue to grow on and off the field.
