Chase Ohm was named the first head powerlifting and olympic weightlifting coach in Hesston College history in January 2024.

A native of Lookout, Calif., Ohm earned his associate degree from Feather River (Calif.) College before completing his undergrad at Missouri Valley College. During his college career, Ohm was a three-time national qualifier for USAW University Nationals and the USAW U25 National Championships earning All-American honors with a fourth-place finish in 2022.

After completing his bachelor’s degree, Ohm went on to earn a Master’s in Business Administration from MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) University while serving as a graduate assistant for their strength and conditioning program. In his time there, he helped train their NAIA national champion men’s soccer team and Heart of America conference champion football team.
