The Larks were able to win both of their games this weekend in the Rodeway Inn and Suites Tournament to bring their record to 2-0 on the season. They now begin their preparation for their next game on Tuesday, November 4 against Neosho County Community College.

The Larks faced off with the Swedes on Friday, November 1 in their season opener, and the Larks were able to escape with a thrilling win in OT by a score of (100-95). This win brought the Larks record to 1-0 on the season, and was just the beginning of their hot play over the weekend.Â
Langston Flowers (Fr. Dallas, Texas) lead the way for the Larks in scoring as he dropped 28 points on the Swedes in his first game with the Larks.Â
Marcus Hill (Fr. Houston, Texas) was a monster on the glass for Hesston as he grabbed 10 boards, which was the game high for both teams. Â

The Larks faced off with On Point Prep on Saturday, November 2 where they defeated On Point easily by a score of (80-61) to bring their record to 2-0 on the season.Â
Jacob Baker (So. Wichita, KS) lead the way for the Larks with 26 points as he was on fire from behind the arc. He went on to hit 6 out of 9 three pointers that he attempted which ignited the Larks offense.Â
