The Larks were unable to secure victories in their two games on Tuesday and Wednesday as they fell to Neosho (Tues.) and Tabor JV (Wed.), bringing their overall record to 0-5 on the season.  They will now have a day off to rest before they hit the road for the Roughrider Classic.  


Hesston vs. Neosho Game Notes

The Larks faced off with Neosho County Community College on Tuesday, November 5 where they were defeated by a score of 98-53.  This loss brought the Larks record to 0-4 on the season as they were in their second game of a stretch of three games in a row.  Hesston had an off night shooting as they shot 31% from the field, and just 17 % from three point range.  Destiny Kessay (Fr. McNary, Ariz.) lead the way for the Larks in scoring with 13 points.  Sydney Bontrager (Fr. Milford, Neb.) grabbed 9 rebounds on the night, which was the high for the Larks.

Hesston vs. Tabor JV Game Notes

The Larks faced of Tabor College JV at home on Wednesday, November 6 where they were defeated 49-42, bringing their record to 0-5 on the season.  It was an off night for both teams, as it seemed neither team could get much going for them.  The Larks shot 36% from the field, and just 33% from three point range.  Hesston was presented with many second chance point opportunities, but they were unable to cash in on their chances.  Lexy Salmans (So. Bel Aire, Kan.) led the way for the Larks in scoring with 11 points.
