Hesston, KS/ Barttlesville, OK -

The Larks will look to end the first half of the season on a high note as they face off with McPherson College (Dec. 3) and Oklahoma Wesleyan University (Dec. 9).  Hesston has lost 3 of their last 4 games coming into these final two games before winter break, so they will search to change their fortunes.  


McPherson JV Notes

The Bulldogs of McPherson College are located in McPherson, Kansas and are affiliated with the KCAC which is in the NAIA.  McPherson is currently 2-5 on the season and have lost 4 of their last 5 games.  Last season the Bulldogs were defeated by the Larks in their only match-up by a score of 67-59.  They are coached by Josh Nichols who is in his 1st season as head coach of the Bulldogs.



OKWU JV Notes

The Eagles of Oklahoma Wesleyan University are located in Barttlesville, Oklahoma and are also affiliated with the KCAC.  OKWU is currently 7-2** on the season and have lost their last two games.  OKWU is coached by Grace Hadley who is in her 3rd season as head coach of the Eagles.

Hesston Notes

The Larks will search to for a couple of victories before they head into winter break.  They are currently 1-13 on the season, but despite their record they have played many games very close and almost pulling off the victories.  Hesston will look to more outstanding play by their freshman forward Sydney Bontrager (Milford, Neb.) as she averaging 8.2 PPG and 7.9 RPG this season.  They are coached by Jeff Jacobs who is in his 4th season as head coach.
