Bontrager Notches Third Double-Double

Colby/Hesston, KS -

The Larks played their last back-to-back of the first half of the season this week, and were unable to find a victory.  These loses bring their overall record to 1-14 on the season, as they will finish up the first half of the season on Monday, December 9.  


Hesston vs. Colby Notes

The Larks faced off with the Trojans on Monday, December 2 on the road where they would fall by a score of 85-45, bringing their record to 1-13 on the season.  Sydney Bontrager led the way for the Larks in scoring with 8 points, she also had a team high in rebounds with 7.  Nine Larks found the scoring column in this game, but were unable to limit the turnovers which led to most of Colby's points.

Hesston vs. McPherson Notes

The Larks faced off with the Bulldogs on Tuesday, December 3 inside Yost Center, where they fell in a close game by a score of 63-54 brining their record to 1-14 on the season.  Bontrager notched her third double-double of the season as she had 13 points and 14 rebounds.  She also had a team high in blocks with 4, three of them where in consecutive possessions.  Hesston went back and forth with McPherson, but a couple of late three pointers by the Bulldogs put the game out of reach.
