The Larks opened the new decade right where they left off in the last decade by extending their win streak to seven games.  They defeated Central Christian 86-74, which brings their record to 10-5 on the season.


Game Notes

The Larks started the game out on an 8-0 run as Jacob Baker (So. Wichita, Kan.) drained back-to back threes to put the Larks ahead.  Hesston would continue to build their lead in the first half as they led by as much as 18 points when it was 37-19 with 5:12 left in the half.  Central Christian fought back to end the half as they cut the Lark lead down to 8 as they trailed 41-33 going into the second half.  The second half, both teams traded blows as neither team could go on much of a run.  The Larks continued to keep control of the lead and were able to secure a victory in the end by a score of 86-74.  Jacob Baker led all scores with 28 points, bringing his KJCCC leading average up to 19.9 PPG.  Derrick Magiya (So. Plano, Texas) had a monster game as he secured a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
