Hesston, KS -

The Larks will face off with Southwestern College for the last time this season on Friday, January 17 at 7:30 PM inside Yost Gymnasium. They will also face off with Nationwide Academy on January 18 at 3:00 PM inside Yost Gymnasium.   


Southwestern College Notes

The Moundbuilders of Southwestern College are located in Winfield, Kansas and are in the KCAC.  They are currently 2-3 on the season and have previously lost to the Larks by a score of 85-64 on November 21.  The Builders are coached by Jimmy McSorley who is in his 1st season as the JV head coach.


Nationwide Academy Notes

The Bengals of Nationwide Prep is a post high school graduate prep school located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  According to their website they are, "Nation Wide Academy is committed to excellence and providing Student-Athletes with tools to achieve their academic goals and enhance fundamental athletic skills and abilities to elevate their basketball game to collegiate level expectations to be recognized by college coaches and college athletic programs." 


Hesston Notes

The Larks will look to continue their winning streak as they play their two final non-conference games before conference play begins on January 22.  They defeated Central Christian on Wednesday night by a score of 86-74, as they had 4 scorers in double figures.  Hesston is coached by Dustin Galyon who is in his 10th season as head coach.
