The Larks faced off with Nationwide Academy in their final non-conference game of the season today, and went on to defeat the Bengals 74-60.  This win extends the Larks winning streak to nine games, and brings their overall record to 12-5 on the season.


Game Notes

The Larks avenged their loss earlier this season to Nationwide Academy today with their 14 point win.  Jacob Baker (So. Wichita, Kan.) led the Larks in scoring today with 21 points, bringing his season average to 18.9 PPG.  Reese Nebel (So. Hesston, Kan.) had a great scoring outburst as he had 15 points, and played outstanding on defense all game long.  Hesston played great defense as a team today, as they recorded 10 steals, which accounted for 14 of their points.

What's Next?

The Larks will now rest up, and be back in action on Wednesday, January 22 at 7:30 PM at Fort Scott Community College as they begin KJCCC play.  They will look to extend their winning streak to ten games.
