The Larks played in their first game back from winter break and they ended up falling in a close one on the road 49-47 against Southwestern Christian.  This loss brings their record to 2-15 on the season as they head into conference play.  


Game Notes

The Larks traveled to Southwestern Christian last night for their first game back from winter break.  They went back-and-forth all game with the Eagles, and the game came down to a last second shot by the Larks, but they were unable to get the basket to fall.  Hesston had a great night rebounding the ball as they account for 61 rebounds, including 2 players with 15+ rebounds.  Caitlyn Phillips (So. Mustang, Okla.) led the way with 18 rebounds and also had 7 points, Sydney Bontrager (Fr. Milford, Neb.) grabbed 16 rebounds to go with her 6 points.  Jordyn Brakes (Fr. Frisco, Texas) led the Larks in scoring with 10 points.
