Men Drop Tough Conference Games

Hesston, KS -

The Larks battled it put with two tough conference opponents this week and were unable to come out on top as they fell to Highland CC and Johnson County CC.  These losses bring the Larks record to (13-8, 1-3) on the season.



Highland vs. Hesston Game Notes

The Larks faced off with Highland CC on Wednesday night in Yost Center where they fell in a tough battle 61-59.  The Larks found themselves down by 16 points with 9:12 left in the game, but they fought back to close the deficit to 1 point after Langston Flowers (Fr. Dallas, Texas) and Reese Nebel (So. Hesston, Kan.) both hit huge three pointers during this run.  Langston Flowers led the Larks in scoring with 21 points and also grabbed 7 rebounds.

Johnson vs, Hesston Game Notes

The Larks were unable to handle Johnson County this afternoon as they fell behind after taking a 2-0 lead, and were unable to to catch back up.  Langston Flowers had another great game today as he recorded 21 points for the second straight game.  Jacob Baker (So. Wichita, Kan.) and Reese Nebel both added 10 points each, but the Larks three point percentage (22.2%) was unable to help them to victory tonight.  Hesston would end up falling to the Cavs 73-57, brining the Larks to a three game losing streak.
