The Larks will head to Great Bend today for a double header between Otero JC (11 AM) & Barton CC (1 PM).  Hesston will look to secure a couple of wins today and bring their record back to .500 on the season as they currently sit at 0-2.  


Otero JC Notes

The Lady Rattlers of Otero Junior College is located in La Junta, Colorado and are a part of region 9 division I NJCAA.  They are currently 2-0 on the season after the double header sweep over Luna CC.  Otero is coached by Dwight Sanders who is in hsi 3rd season as head coach.


Barton CC Notes

The Cougars of Barton Community College are located in Great Bend, Kansas and are currently 2-0 on the season after wins over Lamar CC.  This will be Barton's only match-up with the Larks this season.  The Cougars are coached by Tyler Gunelson who is in his 3rd season as head coach.


Hesston Notes

The Larks will look to secure a couple of wins today as they currently sit at 0-2 on the season as they fell to Trinity Valley CC last weekend.  Chelsea Smith (So. Tacoma, Wash.) shined in the circle last week as she went 10.1 innings and gave up 6 earned runs on the weekend.  Hesston is coached by Christie Bell who is in her 1st season as head coach.
