The Larks will look for a huge upset in the first round of the Region VI tournament as they face of with KCK who is currently ranked 18th in the nation.  They will travel to KCK on Friday, February 28 at 6:00 PM, for their first round match-up.  The Larks finished the regular season with a (5-24, 1-9) record, but they will now have a clean slate for the beginning of postseason.  


KCK Notes

The Blue Devils of Kansas City Kansas Community College are located in Kansas City, Kansas and are currently (24-6, 5-5) on the season.  They defeated the Larks earlier this season on January 25 by a score of 82-55, and on February 12 by a score of 103-57.  KCK is currently 11-2 at home this season, as they have had good home court advantage.  The Blue Devils are coached by Joe McKinstry who is in his 5th season as head coach.

Hesston Notes

The Larks are set face off with KCK in the first round of the Region VI tournament.  They were defeated both times this season by the Blue Devils, but they will look to change their fortunes this time around.  They will look to knock off a top ranked opponent in the country and move onto the second round of the tournament.  Hesston is coached by Jeff Jacobs who is in his 4th season as head coach.
