The Larks will travel to Highland Community College today for their first round match-up of the Region VI tournament beginning at 7:00 PM.  Hesston finished the regular season with a (13-14, 1-9) record, and lost their last nine games.


Highland Notes

The Scotties of Highland Community College are located in Highland, Kansas and are currently (19-10, 5-5) on the season and are the three seed in the tournament.  They defeated the Larks earlier this season by a score of 61-59 in a close game inside Yost Center, and at home on February 15 by a score of 73-63.  Highland is coached by Jerre Cole who is in his 11th season as head coach.

The Larks are the six seed in the tournament, and will look to knock off the higher seeded opponent.  They have played great games in both match-ups with the Scotties this season, as they lost the first game by 2 points and the second by 10 points.  Hesston is coached by Dustin Galyon who is in his 12th season as head coach.
