The Larks season ended Friday night after they were defeated by #18 Kansas City Kansas Community College by a score of 95-54.  Their overall record ended up at 5-25, as they lost their final eight games.


Game Notes

The Larks were unable to pull off an upset as they fell to the #18 team in the nation in the first round of the Region VI tournament.  They hung around with the Blue Devils in the first quarter as they trailed 21-16 heading into the second quarter.  Hesston was unable to get anything really going in the next three quarters as they averaged about 12 points per quarter.  Destiny Kessay (Fr. McNary, Ariz.) led the way for the Larks with 9 points on 4-8 shooting from the field.  Sydney Bontrager (Fr, Milford, Neb.) the conference leader in rebounds had 8 points and 15 rebounds on the night.
