The Larks fell on the road against Northeast Community College in what will be their final games of the season after the NJCAA canceled the season due to COVID-19. Their record finished at 8-11 as they fell in what was their final four games of the season. Â
Game 1 Recap
The Larks fell in a close game as they were defeated 3-1 in game one. The Larks went up quick in the first inning after
Sean Maple brought home an RBI ground-out to go up 1-0. This would be the only run the Larks scored in game one, as the Hawks would later add three runs throughout the rest of the game.Â
Dane Milburn got the start on the mound for the Larks as he went six innings giving up three hits on three runs, with none of them being earned. Â
Game 2 Recap
In game 2 the Larks fell in a hole as they were down 6-0, as the headed into the seventh inning. They would go on to add three runs in the top of the seventh after an RBI single by
Ryusei Hando, and
Peyton Niemann brought home a run on an error, then scored on a past ball. They would end up falling 6-3, as
Easton Unruh got the start as he went 3.1 innings giving up three earned runs. Â
