The Larks traveled to Harrison, Arkansas this past weekend to compete in the North Arkansas tournament, where they played four games and they split the games 2-2.  Their record now sits at 8-8 on the season, they will now begin preparing to travel to Northern Oklahoma- Tonkawa for a doubleheader with the 4th ranked Mavs.


Weekend Highlights

The Larks faced off in a doubleheader on Friday afternoon, their first game was with (RV) Rock Valley College and they dominated the game as they won 9-1.  In the second game of the day the Larks faced off with Western Tech College, and the dominated in this game as well as they won 10-0.  This game featured a stellar pitching performance by Dane Milburn (So. Lincoln, Neb.) as he went a complete game and threw a 2-hit shutout to get the win for the Larks.  On Saturday the Larks faced off in a doubleheader with Moraine Valley CC and lost both games by the score (13-3), (10-9).  This weekend featured great hitting performances from many Larks players.  Aiden Boettcher (Fr. Benton, Kan.) hit his first career Larks homerun and had 4 RBI's on the weekend, he also went 1-4 on the weekend.  Caden Bartlett (So. Amber, Okla.) also hit a homerun this weekend and had 4 RBI's, he would go 3-10 on the weekend.  Kauy Kuhn (Fr. Cheney, Kan.) had a great weekend as he went 4-11 with 3 singles, 1 double and accounted for 3 RBI's.  



What's Next?

The Larks will travel down to NOC-Tonkawa on Tuesday afternoon for a doubleheader with the #4 Mavericks beginning at 1:00 PM.  The Larks were swept last week by the Mavericks and will look to seek revenge this time around.
