The Larks traveled down to Gainesville, Texas to face off with North Central Texas College were they fell in all four games they played.  Their record now sits at 7-11 on the season, as they begin conference play this week.  


Weekend Recap

The Larks were swept by the Lady Lions last weekend as they struggled to get their normal high powered offense going.  They lost their games by the following scores (4-1, 10-2, 9-1, 13-3).  Chelsea Smith (So. Tacoma, Wash.) started 3 of the 4 games for the Larks as she threw 17 innings and recorded 28 strikeouts as she finished with a 0-3 record on the weekend.  Anyssa Aguilar (So. Hacienda Heights, Calif.) went 4-12 on the weekend with one double and one RBI.  Alexis Silvey (Fr. Colorado Springs, Colo.) went 4-9 in three games played on the weekend with all four of her hits being singles and scoring two runs.  


What's Next?

The Larks will be back in action on Thursday afternoon at home as they begin KJCCC play with a doublheader against Coffeyville CC.
