The Larks are set to begin their season today, after their fall season was moved to the spring due to COVID-19. They will host a tri-match versus Southeast CC at 3:00 PM and Barton CC at 7:00 PM inside of Yost Center. No fans are allowed at this event due to
KJCCC protocols, but the game will be streamed
here. Head Coach
Taylor Littleton will be making her head coaching debut today, and will look to begin the season with a pair of wins.
ABOUT THE LARKS
Hesston will play their first two games of the season today, they will look to improve their record from a season ago where they went (14-17, 1-9). The Larks bring back three key players from last season, to go along with their seven new members of the team.
Tannah Tilley (So. Derby, Kansas) made a huge impact for the Larks last season, as she averaged 1.79 k/s and 1.8 d/s. She will look to continue to make a strong impact on the Larks during her sophomore campaign. Look for Olivia Gailbraith (So. Millersburg, Ohio) to continue her outstanding Larks career as she averaged 1.53 d/s last season.
UP NEXT
The Larks will travel to Chanute, Kansas to begin KJCCC conference play on Thursday, January 28th at 6:30 PM as they face-off with Neosho County Community College.
