Volleyball Opens Conference Play

Hesston, KS -


The Larks are set to open conference play tonight as they travel to Chanute, Kansas to face off with the Panthers of Neosho County CC at 6:30 PM.  Hesston will look to add their first win of the season as they currently sit at 0-2.  


PREVIOUS GAME 

Volleyball hosted a tri-match last Friday, January 22 inside Yost Center as they dropped their matches versus Southeast CC (3-0) and Barton (3-0).  The Larks started both matches off slow, and were unable to keep up with either team.  Coach Taylor Littleton is still searching for her first career win as the Larks head coach.  



ABOUT THE LARKS 

Hesston is led by Tannah Tilley (So. Derby, Kan.) in kills with 11, and Olivia Galbraith (So. Millersburg, OH) is right behind her with 8 kills this season.  McKayla Long (Fr. Highland, CA) leads the Larks with 25 digs on the season.  


ABOUT THE PANTHERS

The Panthers currently sit at 0-0 on the season and will face off with the Larks for their first game of the season.  Neosho is coached by Marisa Compton who is in her first season as their head coach.  


MATCHUP HISTORY

The Larks are currently 1-3 overall all-time versus the Panthers dating back to the 2017 season.  The last time they faced off was last season were the Larks fell on the road 3-0 to the Panthers.
