The Larks dropped their first conference match of the season last night in three sets to Neosho County (9-25, 15-25, 9-25). This loss puts the Larks overall record at (0-3, 0-1) on the season.
Hesston was unable to get much going last night as they fell in three straight sets, as they have now dropped their ninth consecutive set. They were led in kills by
Taylor Thompson (Fr. Irving, Texas),
Olivia Galbraith (So. Millersburg, Ohio) and
Tannah Tilley (So. Derby, Kan.) as they all finished with 3 kills. Week one KJCCC defensive player of the week,
McKayla Long (Fr. Highland, CA) led the Larks in digs last night as she finished with 15.
Alexis Zehr (Fr. Burrton, Kan.) finished with 7 assists, which was the high for the Larks.
Volleyball will look to pull of an upset on Monday night inside Yost Center as they face off with the #2 team in the nation. They will go up against Coffeyville Community College (0-1, 0-1) beginning at 6:30 PM.
