The Larks will look to defeat Friends JV this afternoon after falling to them on Wednesday night by a score of 45-41.  Hesston is currently 1-2 on the season, and will look to get back to .500 overall with a win.

The Larks dropped a close game on Wednesday night to Friends JV 45-41. Kirah Stepps (Fr. Wichita, Kan.) led all scorers with 11 points and added 6 rebounds as well.  Hesston fell to 1-2 on the season after falling to Friends JV.


ABOUT THE LARKS 

Hesston is led in scoring by both Kirah Stepps and Destiny Kessay (So. McNary, Ari.) as they are averaging 9.3 points per game.  The Larks are led by Sydney Bontrager (So. Milford, Neb.) in rebounds as she is averaging 16.7 RPG.  


ABOUT THE FALCONS

The Falcons are currently 2-0 on the season and are coming off a win against the Larks on Wednesday night.  This will be their final match-up against Hesston this season.  Friends JV is coached by Bela Raimondi and Holly Smith who are both in their first seasons with Friends University.  


MATCHUP HISTORY

The Larks are 0-3 all-time versus the Falcons dating back to the 2013 season.  Their most recent match-up came just a couple nights ago, where the Falcons defeated the Larks 45-41.  This will be the first time the Larks will travel to Friends University in their match-up history.
