The Larks traveled up to Nebraska on Saturday afternoon for a regional match with Southeast CC as the Larks looked to sweep the season series after defeating the Storm at home earlier in the season.  

Hesston got on the board first in the first half when Lusanda Nyathi knocked in a PK attempt to give the Larks a 1-0 lead.  The Storm added a late goal in the first half as they tied the game at 1-1 as they went into halftime.  Treston Carlson recorded the game winning goal for the Larks when he scored in the 50th minute on an assist by Mohammed Bushra as the Larks would hold onto the lead and take the game by a score of 2-1.  Aidan McGonagle got the start in the net for the Larks as he recorded 7 saves while allowing only 1 goal as he helped lead the Larks to victory.  

Hesston faced off with Morningside JV on Monday afternoon as they looked to get another win added to their season total, but were unfortunately unable to come away with a win as they fell 3-0.  They currently sit at (6-6-2, 0-3) as they continue to play hard towards earning a second straight playoff appearance.  

They will face off with Allen County CC on October 16 beginning at 7:30 PM as they look for a huge conference win and honor their sophomore class!
