Hesston, KS -


The Larks hosted Pratt CC last night in a KJCCC match-up as both teams looked to gain edge in the conference standings.  Hesston came into this match with a (5-4-1, 2-2) record on the season and sitting in third place in the conference standings.  


In the 9th minute of the match, Pratt got on the board first with a goal as they took a 1-0 lead.  Aidan McGonagle got the start in the goal for the Larks and was lights out the rest of the first half in the net.  At the end of the first half the score remained at 1-0 in favor of Pratt.  The second half feature a very intense 45 minutes as both teams showed great defense.  The Larks had a few opportunities to score, but were unable to get the ball in the net.  They would go on to fall 1-0 and move their season record to (5-5-1, 2-3) as they now begin their second half of the season.


They will be back in action on Wednesday evening when they host Central CC beginning at 4 PM.
