Baseball season is finally back!  The Larks will travel down to Tonkawa, Oklahoma to face off with NOC-Tonkawa in a doubleheader at 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM tomorrow afternoon.  Hesston will be taking the field under new head coach Kyle Olson, last season the Larks went 8-11 before the season was canceled due to covid-19.  


ABOUT THE LARKS

Hesston will look to begin the season off with a pair of wins versus NOC-Tonkawa tomorrow afternoon.  The Larks are brining back a key hitter in Kauy Kuhn (Rs. Fr. Cheney, Kan.) as he led the team in home runs (1) and RBI's (15) last season.  They are also bringing back a key pitcher in Edgar Vera (Rs. Fr. Carolina, PR.) as hed lead the team in ERA (0.69) and earned runs (1).  


ABOUT THE MAVERICKS

The Mavericks will be playing in the first two games of the season versus the Larks tomorrow.  They faced off with the Larks last season and took both games from them (6-3, 18-1).  NOC is coached by Ryan Bay who is in his eighth season as head coach of the Mavericks.
