The Larks faced off with Labette CC on Saturday afternoon in Parsons, Kansas for their sixth conference match of the season. They would go on to fall 3-1 (26-24, 26-28, 12-25, 22-25), this loss brings the Larks overall record to (0-8, 0-6) on the season.
Hesston found themselves winning their second set of the season as they took the first set 26-24 over Labette, but were unable to build off that win as they dropped the next three sets. They were in each set, but Labette was able to close the Larks out in the end. The Larks saw
Taylor Thompson (Fr. Irving, Texas) finish will a career high in digs as she finished with 30, which 20 higher then her previous high.
Alexis Zehr (Fr. Burtton, Kan.) finished with her second 20+ assist match of the season as she finished with 20 assists.
Jessica Wilson (So. Spring, Texas) led the Larks in kills as she finished with 15 kills and a hitting percentage of .244, which was also led the Larks in this match.
