The Larks will look to win their fourth straight game this evening inside Yost Center beginning at 5:00 PM as they host Southeast CC.
PREVIOUS GAME
The Larks defeated Bethel College JV on Tuesday night by a score of 60-48, giving them their third straight victory. There was four different Lark players that score 10+ points in the game, which was the first time this season that has happened.
Sydney Bontrager added another double-double as she finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
ABOUT THE LARKS
Hesston currently holds a 4-3 record overall this season, and have not lost since January 30 when they were defeated by Friends JV. They are led in scoring by
Destiny Kessay as she is averaging 11.7 PPG and she also averages 5.0 RPG.
Sydney Bontrager leads the Larks in rebounds per game with 14.0, and she is also second in the nation in rebounds per game.
ABOUT THE STORM
The Storm are currently (7-4, 1-1) on the season and are coming off of a 73-66 victory over Highland CC. They are coached by Lynn Schlake who is in his fifth season as head coach of the Storm.
MATCHUP HISTORY
This will be the ninth matchup all-time between the Larks and the Storm dating back to the 2012 season. The Storm lead the series 6-3, and won their most recent game in 2017 by a score of 90-73. The last time the Larks defeated Southeast was in 2017, when the defeated the Storm at home by a score of 83-58.
