Volleyball Looks to Upset #7 Johnson County

The Larks will host the Cavs of Johnson County tonight at 6:00 PM inside Yost Center, they will look to upset the #7 team in the nation.



PREVIOUS MATCH

The Larks hosted (RV) Coffeyville CC on Monday night inside Yost Center, where they would fall 3-1 (24-26, 25-22, 19-25, 25-27).  They were led in kills by Jessica Wilson (So. Spring, Texas) with 18, and Tannah Tilley (So. Derby, Kan.) with 16.  Alexis Zehr (Fr. Burrton, Kan.) had a career night with 24 assists.  


ABOUT THE LARKS 

Hesston is currently searching for their first win this season as they hold a (0-4, 0-2) record on the season.  They are led in kills/set by Jessica Wilson as she averages 2.71 k/s, and digs per set by McKayla Long (Fr. Highland, Cali.) with 4.62.  Alexis Zehr is averaging 4.00 assists/set on the season.  


ABOUT THE CAVS

Johnson County is currently the #7 team in the nation as they are (3-0, 2-0) on the season.  They are coming off of a 3-1 match win over conference opponent KCK on Monday night.  Johnson County is coached by Jennifer Ei who is in her 13th season as head coach of the volleyball program.
