Baseball Drops DH Versus DCCC

The Larks face off with Dodge City CC this afternoon in a DH matchup where they would drop both games, they fell in game one 6-1 and game two 15-2.  They have now lost four games in a row and hold an over record of 12-13, just one game under .500.  


Game 1

In game one, the Larks couldn't get much going for them as they were only able to get three hits and score one run as they fell 6-1.  Dawson Winter was a key contributor for the Larks in game was as he finished with two of three hits for the Larks as he went 2-3 at the plate, and driving in the only runs for the Larks.  Kainoa Mane got the start on the mound for the Larks as he went a complete game, with 7 innings pitched and finished with 4 strikeouts.  


Game 2

In game two, Dodge City had control of the game the whole time as the Larks were only able to score just two runs, when Jack Brinkley drove in two runs on a single in the bottom of the fifth inning.  Hesston would go on to drop game two 15-2, as the Larks lost their fourth straight game.  Aidan Boettcher finished with the Larks only other hit when he knocked a double to left field in the bottom of the fifth inning.  


The Larks will be back in action on Wednesday afternoon at home in a DH matchup versus Bethany College beginning at 1:00 PM.
