The Larks fell to the #1 team in the nation this evening in Johnson County CC as they fell by a score of 88-38.  This loss pushes the Larks losing streak to nine games and their overall record sits at (4-12, 0-8) with two games remaining in the regular season.  


Hesston was unable to get anything going in the first quarter as Johnson County outscored the Larks 22-4 after one quarter of play.  In the second quarter, the Larks were able to score the most points in a quarter for them in this game as they scored 15, and were led by Natalia Bochenek as she scored 6 points as she shot perfect from the field in the quarter.  The Larks trailed 49-19 at the end of the first half.  They weren't able to do much against Johnson County in the second half as they scored just 19 points in the second half, and would go to lose to the Cavs, 88-38.  Natalia Bochenek led the Larks in scoring as she finished with 11 points on 4-8 shooting from the field.  Myley George finished with 6 points on 3-4 shooting from the field and grabbed a season high 7 rebounds.  


The Larks will be back in action on Saturday afternoon as they face off with Fort Scott CC beginning at 2:00 PM in Fort Scott, KS.  This will be the Larks final road game of the regular season, and they will have one home game remaining.
