The Larks traveled to Johnson County CC last night for a KJCCC matchup with the #8 team in the nation. They were unable to pull off the upset as they fell 69-45, this loss brings their overall record to (6-10, 0-6) on the season with just two regular season games left to play.
Hesston put up a good fight versus the Cavs in the first half as they trailed them 38-30, as
Spencer Conway led them in scoring with 9 points and shot 50% from the field. In the second half, the Larks were unable to get their shots to drop as they were held to just 15 points in the half and shot 5-37 from the field. They would fall to #8 Johnson County 69-45,
Langston Flowers led the Larks in scoring as he finished with 12 points on 5-22 shooting from the field.
Elijah Smith grabbed a game high 12 rebounds and added 8 points as well on 2-14 shooting from the field.
The Larks will travel to FSCC on Saturday for their final road regular season contest. This game will begin around 4:00 PM as they FSCC is doing their sophomore day in between the men's and women's games. We will provide scoring updates on Twitter: @GoLarks
