The Larks traveled to NWOSU yesterday afternoon and would go on to sweep the Rangers (20-10 and 10-5).  These two wins extend the Larks win streak to five games and push their overall record to 8-5 on the season.  They will head to Arkansas on Friday to face off with North Arkansas College, they will play a DH on Saturday and Sunday.    


GAME 1

The Larks dominated the Rangers in game one as they would go on to score a season high in runs and get the 20-10 victory.  This game saw a huge performace by Shunsuke Otonashi as he went 3-6 with 8 RBI, including a grand slam and a 3-run home run as both of them came in top of the seventh inning.  Mendy Lopez also had a big game as he had 2 hits and a home run.  Cayden Diccion got the start for the Larks on the mound and would end up going 5.0 innings while only giving up 2 earned runs and securing the win.  


GAME 2

The Larks brought their hot bats over to game two as they put up 10+ runs for the fifth consecutive game, as they took the 10-5 victory over the Rangers.  Justin Smith continued his dominance as he crushed another home run in the first inning!  Justin is now just 2 home runs from entering the top ten for home runs in a season in Hesston Baseball history.  The Larks were stealing bases all game long on the Rangers as they stole a total of 10 bags.  Brayden Ketley would get the start on the mound for the Larks and would go 4.0 innings and strikeout five.  Luke Cahill finished out the game on the mound for the Larks as he went 3.0 innings and gave zero earned runs on four strikeouts.  


Hesston will be back in action on Saturday and Sunday as they travel to North Arkansas College for a four game series.
