The Larks played their second conference game of the season and their second consecutive game in Nebraska. They came away with the win over Southeast CC by a score of 1-0, their record now sits at (3-1, 0-1) on the season.
Both teams remained scoreless for much of the game as they headed to halftime with the score tied at 0-0. In the second half, the Larks were finally able to get on the board in the 71st minute as
Baldo Moreno assisted on a goal by
Mohammed Bushra to give the Larks the 1-0 advantage. Hesston would go on to take the game after
Aidan McGonagle played outstanding in the net as he recorded his second consecutive shutout and recorded 8 saves.
The Larks will be back in action on Wednesday evening beginning at 6:00 PM as they host Garden City CC at Sieber Field. They will look to win their third game in a row this season, before they get back into conference play on Saturday evening.
