The Larks will head to Topeka to face off with #1 seed Highland CC in the first round of the District B tournament beginning at 12 PM on Friday.  


ABOUT THE LARKS

The Larks finished with a (20-22, 12-18) regular season record, and finished fourth in Div. B standings for the KJCCC.  They are reigning KJCCC champions from the 2019 season when they finished (34-10, 15-5).  They are led in batting average by Jessie Miranda as she holds a .511 average, Jessie also leads the team in stolen bases (50) and hits (72).  Kimberlin Hopson leads the team in home runs (11) and doubles (15), she is second on the team in RBI (53).  Marissa Harrison leads the team in RBI with 55, she also is second on the team in home runs with 10.  Teri Stanton leads the Larks in wins oin the circle with a 10-9 record and has the lowest ERA on the staff at 4.92.  


MATCHUP HISTORY

The Larks will look to upset the #1 seed Highland CC Scotties, and they will look for their first win against them dating back to 2018, as they have gone 0-8 versus them.  Hesston was swept in the regular season series against Highland.
