The Larks faced off with the Builders yesterday as both teams battled against the heat as temperature at the beginning of the match was near 100 degrees.
In the first half, both teams went back and forth, but neither team was able to get the ball in the net. At the end of the first half, the Larks remained tied with Builders 0-0,
Katie Robeck did very well in the first half as she recorded 5 saves.
In the second half, the Builders got on the board first as they went up on the Larks 1-0 in the 53rd minute. The Builders would go on to take a 2-0 lead over the Larks, and Hesston wasn't able to recover as they fell 2-0. This loss brings their season record to 0-2 on the season, they will look for their first win this season and look to give head coach
Thomas Gaskell his first win as head coach. The Larks will head to Colorado on Saturday afternoon for a non-conference match-up with Northeastern Junior College.
