Men's Soccer traveled to Moore, Oklahoma yesterday for a match with the reigning NCCAA champions in Randall University. The Larks came into this match looking to get back on track after falling to Garden City earlier in the week.
Hesston and Randall played an outstanding first half in this match as both teams played great defense. The score at the half was 0-0 as
Christian Kelly stopped every shot that went his way in the first half. In the second half,
Abwe Abandelwa scored for the Larks, which was his second goal of the season to tie the game up at 1-1. Randall would go on to add a goal late in the game as the Larks would go on to fall 2-1. This loss brings the Larks record to 3-2-1 on the season, they will begin conference play on Wednesday as they travel to Nebraska to face off with Central CC.
