The Larks looked to continue their hot start as they were searching for their fourth win of the season and first of region/conference play. Â
Both teams in the first half were unable to get the ball in the net as the score remained 0-0 going into halftime. Â
Aidan McGonagle continued to shine as he allowed nothing by him while in the net in the first half. Â
The second half was a strong one for the Larks as they added their first goal in the 60th minute when
Mohammed Bushra scored after an assist by
Ethan Presas to give the Larks a 1-0 lead. Â They would add another goal in the 74th minute after a goal by
Patrick Uwimana, which was also assisted by
Ethan Presas. Â The Larks would go on to hold their 2-0 lead and take the game as they improved their record to (4-2-1, 1-0) on the season. Â
The Larks will be back in action on Saturday evening as the host Southeast CC, they will look to improve to 2-0 in region/conference play.
