Box Score Hesston, KS -


The Larks faced off with (RV) Butler last night inside Yost Gym as they looked to pull off an upset of a team who is receiving votes in the NJCAA polls.  Hesston came into the match with a (1-11, 0-2) record on the season.  

Hesston came out of the gates cold in this match as Butler took advantage of some Hesston mistakes early.  At the end of set one the Larks would end up falling 25-10 as the Larks were unable to get things going in this set.  In set two, it ended up having the same result as set one for the Larks as they fell 25-10 again and went down 2-0 in the match.  In set three, it ended up being the same story of the first two sets as the Larks fell 25-11 and dropped the match 3-0 to (RV) Butler.  


The Larks will be back in action Monday evening as they travel to Pratt CC for tri-match with Pratt and Friends JV.  We will provide score updates via social media.
