Game 1: The MavericksĀ of Northern Oklahoma were able to get the best of the Larks pitching in game one of the double header. Combining for 16 hits, 5 home runs, and 17 runs total. Toryn Henshaw of Hesston College was the lone bright on offense, hitting one home run, and driving in three for the Larks. Manny Martinez came in as a relief pitcher and in 3 ? innings only gave up four hits and one run.Ā

Game 2: The Hesston offense started off much better in this matchup igniting for five runs in the first inning. This off doubles from Cade Irwin, and Dylan Maltby. The Larks were able to extend their lead to six before the MavericksĀ flew back into the game with three home runs in the sixth and then took the lead in the top of the seventh for good.Ā Ā Ā
